Schedule
The Work continues throughout the fall of 2025 and beyond, with a few variations in schedule.
HERE ARE THE DATES
MONDAY
November 24, 7 p.m. E.S.T.
Dr. Evadne Kelly will join us for a conversation on eugenics in Canada.
This is not a comfortable topic; however, eugenics was everywhere during the period we have been discussing in the last few webinars, and it played a central part in the physical culture movement both in Europe and North America. Tonight's interview will give us a chance to grapple with some tough issues directly. Maybe we can also talk about how these beliefs and practices continue to show up in the present day.
December 2, 3 p.m. E.S.T.
Drop-in discussion
TUESDAY
December 16, 7 p.m. E.S.T.
Continuation of Kallmeyer.
IF THERE IS INTEREST:
December 23, 3 p.m.
Drop-in discussion
(That is getting close to Christmas, so we will see how many are interested and available).
2026 AND PERHAPS BEYOND
The "Craft and Method" part of this series will come into focus in the new year, as we talk about practitioners (past and present) who believe(d) anyone can learn to make music, draw, act, or write.
As always, we'll look into the politics and economics of the matter, and meet some strange and wonderful characters.
